Limited Warranty — Plastic Lumber Products
Preservation Materials International, LLC (PMI) warrants its lumber products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and application. In addition, PMI products are warranted against splitting, cracking, peeling, rot, decay, termite or marine borer damage for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of manufacture. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser (i.e., the owner installed PMI products). The warranty is effective only for the original installation of the Preservation Material International, LLC Plastic Lumber. Metal parts warranty for five (5) years. All PMI Plastic Wall Mount Bracket and indoor seating systems are covered under an extended Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to the terms and conditions of our standard twenty (20) year warranty.
During the warranty period, PMI will repair or replace defective PMI Plastic Lumber Products free of charge after a verified claim has been made. PMI must be given written notice of the claimed damage within 30-days of its discovery and provided reasonable opportunity to inspect the damaged PMI Product prior to alteration or repair. Remedies under this warranty are expressly limited to repairing or replacing a defective product with a same, similar or comparable design. PMI is not responsible for any removal, installation, delivery or reinstallation costs.
THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THOSE CONCERNINIG MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
In no event shall PMI be liable for an incidental, consequential or special damages related to PMI Plastic Lumber Products due to improper handling in shipping, storage, installation or application.
All claims under this warranty should be sent to your local PMI distributor or directly to: Preservation Materials International, LLC, 123 Huron Road, Findlay, OH 45840.
All claims must be submitted in writing and include:
1. A completed proof of purchase certificate.
2. A photograph of the defective Preservation Material International, LLC product.
3. A written description of the damage to the product.
